The ENABLE project adopts a multi-tiered approach to tackle gender and disability discrimination in
Kenya, Nepal, and Uzbekistan. It builds on the ICJ’s proven methodologies and existing partnerships,
ensuring contextual relevance and sustainability.

Objectives
Overall Objective: To strengthen the rights and status of women and girls, including those with
disabilities, by addressing systemic gender and disability discrimination in justice systems and
societal norms.
Specific Objectives:

1. Equip stakeholders with tools to identify and address gender and disability
   stereotyping in legal systems.
2. Promote the adoption of international human rights standards into national policies
   and practices
3. Empower women and girls to exercise their rights and access justice effectively
