Background

Nepal Disabled Women Association (NDWA) organization is implementing a Financial Autonomy and Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities through Agriculture (FAIDA) project, consortium with CBM Global Disability Inclusion, SAPPROS and Kheti, aimed at achieving financial autonomy for Persons with Disabilities through climate-smart agriculture, inclusive and accessible banking and financial services. To bridge the information gap and eliminate attitudinal, physical, digital and policy barriers, we intend to mobilize Radio/FM stations. FAIDA aim to combine demand- and supply-side interventions in Chitwan district will contribute to improved financial health of persons with disabilities – to enjoy basic financial rights; control their own finances and have access to client-centric services. They will develop sustainable livelihoods and improved resilience to shocks, and thereby start to break out of the cycle of poverty and disability. 

Objective of the Assignment

To produce high-quality, inclusive radio jingles and talk shows that promote financial literacy, disability rights, and economic inclusion at the local level.

Scope of Work:

  • Produce 20 diverse radio jingles (30-40 seconds) in Nepali and local languages.
  • Produce and broadcast 5 episodes of radio talk shows featuring local government, banks, and the representatives of persons with disabilities and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure the inclusion of persons with disabilities voices (especially women) in audio production.

Expected Deliverables:

  • Master copies of all produced jingles/talk shows.
  • A detailed broadcasting schedule (Calendar) provided in advance.
  • Final broadcast logs and impact report.

Required Qualifications:

  • Legally registered media house or production firm with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Proven track record in social awareness campaigning and disability inclusion.

Important General Terms

  • Intellectual Property Rights: All materials, scripts, designs, and raw footage produced under this assignment shall remain the sole property of the NDWA/FAIDA Project. The consultant/firm shall have no right to use these materials for other purposes without written consent.
  • Prior Notification: For all Radio broadcasts, the firm must provide a detailed broadcasting schedule (Date and Time) at least 3 days in advance to the project office for monitoring purposes.
